About Me

Hello! I'm Bryan Flick. I live in Pennsylvania, USA, and have been into computers and technology all my life. I currently work as a Data Warehouse Manager catering to the life sciences industry.

I first learned to code on the Commodore 64 way back in 1983 using BASIC 2.0. I've loved coding ever since, and especially like studying interpreters, compilers, 2D/3D graphics programming, and artificial intelligence.

I decided to write Liquid BASIC as a nostalgic nod to the 8-bit computers and tech that started much of the computer revolution in the 1980s. I hope Liquid BASIC captures not just the language itself but the excitement and interactivity of those old machines.
